The Secret is something of a worldwide phenomenon. The way it has spread around the globe in a short time stands in stark (and somewhat ironic) contradiction to its name. Quite recently, an entire Oprah Winfrey programme was dedicated to The Secret – such is the level of mass appeal of the teachings contained within it. But despite being portrayed as a closely guarded secret (known only to an elite few) during the course of recent human development, the teachings come as no surprise to some, who claim to have understood and lived by it’s principles for many years. Oprah herself, professed on the programme that the Law of Attraction – the fundamental revelation at the heart of The Secret - is something she’s always known and felt in harmony with, she’s just never put a name to it before. So what has ‘The Secret’ – or the Law of Attraction for that matter - got to do with Life Coaching?Actually, a whole lot! As I think about the way in which the New Insights Life Coach Training programme is structured and about the principles it teaches, I realise there’s an interesting parallel with Oprah’s experience here. In fact, so many of the wonderful principles for developing a happy, fulfilling and purposeful life - in which you can be, do and have anything you desire - are taught in our Life Coaching programme; and so in-demand is the concept of Life Coaching becoming, that I am convinced that we are witnessing a fundamental and very exciting shift in human consciousness that is going to change the human experience beyond belief in years to come. It would seem to me that a very special time is upon us!
