If I have eight hours to chop trees, I will spend six hours sharpening the axe....

"If the axe is blunt," the preacher wrote, "it takes more energy and effort to chop a tree." Most people are going through life with blunt tools.

In essence, lack of simple knowledge, understanding and wisdom automatically results in life stagnation, which leads to frustration, which will give birth to despair, then depression, then mental disorder and finally drugs, alcohol, etc.

It’s amazing how people waste so much effort going in circles, wasting so much energy, time and strength - yet with simple wisdom life can be much easier.

Yes easier, even in moments of life transitions, challenges and joy. Wisdom still is necessary to maintain consistency.

Don’t we all need someone to coach us?!
