That’s why you get 30 days to look through the printed and digital   study materials and decide whether the programme is right for you.

If you want to return the printed  materials or ask questions, just contact us — we’re here to help.

Here’s how it works:

  • 30-day review: If you decide the programme isn’t for you, simply return the materials within 30 days of enrolling.
  • Full refund for unopened materials: If the package hasn’t been opened, you’ll get a full refund.
  • Opened materials: You may open the pack to inspect the contents. If anything is damaged or needs repackaging, we may deduct a reasonable amount to cover actual costs.
  • Return shipping: You are responsible for returning the delivered material at your cost
  • CPA rights protected: This policy includes and expands on your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.

At New Insights Africa, we want you to feel confident and satisfied when enrolling in our Life Coach Training and Certification Programme.

We go above and beyond the protection offered by the Consumer Protection Act giving you a 30-day review period to examine the printed and digital study materials and decide whether the programme is right for you.

This policy explains your rights and how returns and refunds work under both our voluntary policy and the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (CPA).

1. YOUR 30-DAY REVIEW PERIOD (Voluntary Policy)

From the date on which you enrol, you have 30 days to review the programme materials. If you decide, for whatever reason, that the programme is not suitable, you may return the delivered materials for a refund.

Conditions:

  • Your intent to initiate a return must be communicated to us by email within 30 days of delivery.
  • Use the email contact form on our Contact Us page to communicate your intent.
  • Your access to the online/digital programme resources will be terminated upon receipt of your communication.
  • Delivered programme materials must be returned in resaleable condition and with all delivered elements included.

2. REFUND AMOUNT

If the delivered material is returned unopened (original packaging intact):

You will receive a full refund of the programme fee paid.

If the delivered material is returned after being opened:

You may open the pack to inspect the materials, provided they are handled carefully. If the packaging or materials have been opened, used, or require restoration, we may deduct a reasonable amount (i.e. an amount based on actual costs incurred) to cover the following:

  • Inspection and quality checks
  • Replacement of any damaged or defaced material causing a reduction in resale value,  including the necessary labour and materials
  • Repackaging materials and labour
  • These deductions are permitted under section 20(6) of the CPA, which allows suppliers to charge for necessary restoration or for diminished value,  when goods are returned after having been opened.

  • You will receive an itemised breakdown with your refund.
  • Special conditions relating to the Refund Amount:

    • If you opted to pay the programme fee by Easy-Pay-Plan we will terminate any debit order arrangement you entered into and refund the full amount received from you up to the point of return.
    • In the event that you enrolled in either the ELITE or PRO Tracks, and you have already partly utilised the services of a mentor coach, a pro rata amount to cover the services used will be deducted from your refund.

    3. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS

    You are required to return the materials to our distributor at your own cost. Please contact us to request the correct return address.

    4. STATUTORY RIGHTS UNDER THE CPA

    This policy is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, which may allow returns in cases such as:

    • Direct marketing “cooling-off” cancellation
    • Goods not fit for purpose
    • Defective or unsafe goods covered by the CPA’s implied warranty

    Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights.

    5. HOW REFUNDS ARE PROCESSED

    • Refunds are processed within 14 days after we receive the returned materials.
    • Refunds are issued to the same payment method used for the purchase unless otherwise agreed between us.
